The "Perfect Pairing"

Valentine's Day Culinary Event

Idyllwild chefs Wendi Strebe and Lon Mercer invite you to join them for
their "Perfect Pairing" Valentine's Day culinary event at the Rainbow
Inn, Sunday, February 14. This creative duo promises a flavorful evening
of deliciousness and surprises as they present five courses of masterfully
prepared cuisine.

The Menu

Reception

The menu for the event begins with a reception featuring hors d'oeuvres of
Endive Boats and Cheddar Brioche Bites.

Dinner includes:

First Course

Ten spice barbecue shrimp cocktail. A savory jumbo prawn sits atop a
delicious medley of roasted corn jicama salsa.

Second Course

Celery bisque with Stilton toasts. Delicate flavors of celery & spice come
together perfectly in this light bisque.

Third Course

Stacked winter vegetables and delicate cheese accompanied by pesto
vinaigrette and roasted tomato puree.

Fourth Course

Sage encrusted pork tenderloin accompanied by slow roasted seasonal
brussels sprouts, harvest wild rice and Rainbow Inn apple chutney.

Desert

Chocolate cheese cake served with fresh strawberry puree.

Tickets for the February 14 dinner event are $55 per person and are all-
inclusive. Reception begins at 6:00 pm followed by dinner at 6:30 pm.
